MMUnion Goes Wireless

In May 2006, MMUnion Student Council passed a motion resolving that, just like all other buildings on campus, WiFi facility should be provided in Students Union building as it will be quite useful for students.

This was taken up positively by university and for last couple of weeks the university has been quite busy installing wireless routers around the building and I am glad to say that they have now been switched on. You can access the Internet in any part of the building whether it be bar, shop or a meeting room. You just need to have your WiFi capable laptop with you.

You can only access the network if you are student at MMU as you need your ID and password to login.
